A professor of private international law and an expert in international commercial arbitration, he has extensive academic experience in university teaching and has authored and published peer-reviewed research in the fields of international commercial arbitration and nationality. He has also participated in legislative work, including serving as an expert on Yemen's accession to the World Trade Organization and participating in committees reviewing trade and investment laws.
